Hotmail uses HTTP and not POP3, SPAMfighter will only work with POP3 accounts.
You can use SPAMfighter with your Hotmail.com webmail with the use of additional software such as IzyMail which is easy to install and configure.
Go to Izymail and type in your name and email address, download the software and open your Outlook or Outlook Express and you should be able to receive and send email with your Hotmail account.
You can also use the Web2pop software. You can learn more about this on this on the Web2pop webpage.
Note: You will need to have a premium account with Hotmail in order to do this.
