Configuring Panda Platinum

1. Open Panda by clicking on the Panda Logo in your sys-tray in your right corner. (Note: your sys-tray might look different than the one shown below)

 


2. Click ”Open Panda Platinum 2005”



3. Click the pane "Protection against known threats"
4. Uncheck "Enable".


5. Click the pane "Firewall protection" and click "Settings…"
 

6. Click "Settings..." in "Programs with access to the Internet or other networks".
 

7. Click the "Add program"
 


8. Click the "..." button to specify the path in where you have installed SPAMfighter.
(Note: The default SPAMfighter installation path is c:\program files\SPAMfighter).

9. Click SPAMCFG.exe and click "Open".
 

10. The chosen path will now be specified in the Path field. Click "Ok". 



11. Click "Add program".

12. Click the "..." button to specify the path in where you have installed SPAMfighter.

(The default SPAMfighter installation path is c:\program files\SPAMfighter).

13. Click SFAgent.exe and click "Open".
 

14. The chosen path will now be specified in the Path field. Click "OK".


15. Make sure to set the SPAMfighter Configuration Tool to allow "Inbound and outbound" communication and click "Close".


16. Click "OK" to finish.

You have now configured your Panda Antivirus to allow SPAMfighter to communicate with the SPAMfighter server.
