Faster than ever
SPAMfighter Exchange Module version 3.4.1 introduces a lot of new additions and improvements, although most of the improvements are hidden from the user. The new SEM 3.4.1 has been tweaked, tuned and rewritten to squeeze every possible speed increase out of the Exchange Server. The Administration Module has also been optimized greatly with the introduction of the 'Keep Alive' module, which ensures data used here is always up to date. Finally, SPAMfighter Exchange Module has been optimized to better support 1000+ user installations.

Support for Exchange Cluster
SPAMfighter Exchange Module version 3.4.1 introduces full support for active/passive Exchange Clusters (Exchange 2000/2003/2007 SCC/CCR). SPAMfighter Exchange Module Clustering provides you with full fail-over capability and thus provides you with continuous spam and virus protection in case of system failure or maintenance. New Scanning Gateway
The 'core engine' in SEM has been reprogrammed to implement SPAMfighter's new Scanning Gateway. This new Scanning Gateway has improved filtering capabilities for PDF and image spam, and continuous updates (if Automatic Update is enabled in SEM). This means even better filtering of spam - and no need to restart the SPAMfighter service in case of an update.

Exchange Bug Auto Recovery feature implemented
Microsoft Exchange Server (2000/2003/2007) unfortunately includes some undocumented bugs which may block SPAMfighter from filtering spam. If SPAMfighter Exchange Module detects that the Exchange Server has one of these bugs, SEM will automatically initiate a Bug Auto Recovery procedure in order to circumvent these bugs in Exchange.

SEM now in French
SPAMfighter Exchange Module has now extended the built-in language support to include French. The Administration Module and the Notification engine is now able to provide our French speaking users with better usage of SEM.

Money Saved property added
A 'Money Saved' property has been added to the Statistics pages and Notification e-mails. The 'Money Saved' property provides users with a quick and easy way of evaluating the value of SEM.

Various updates, tweaks and fixes
A lot of other updates, tweaks and fixes - too numerous to mention here - have been made to SPAMfighter Exchange Module version 3.4.0. You can read the release history here

How to Install / Upgrade
If you are already using SPAMfighter Exchange Module 3.x.x - then please use the Update menu in the Administration Module.

If you are using version 2.5.0 or older please follow these steps:
1) Close any windows, if open
2) Uninstall your existing SEM installation
3) Download the setup file from here
4) Run the downloaded setup file

If the SEM doesn't seem to filter mails after a reinstall - please use the Repair function (Start -> Programs -> SPAMfighter -> Repair SPAMfighter Exchange Module)
