SEM Toolbar
No connection to SEM is shown if the SEM Toolbar cannot access information from the SPAMfighter service.
Most often this occurs because of a known bug in Microsoft Outlook 2003 / 2007 - when Outlook is configured to use "Cached mode"
Please try the following:
1. Disable Cached mode in Outlook
2. Close and reopen Outlook
3. Enable Cached mode
4. Close and reopen Outlook
Also, ensure that you have all the latest service packs for Microsoft Outlook - check here (Note: Running Windows Update will not necessarily update Microsoft Outlook)
Finally, ensure that the user is being filtering by SPAMfighter Exchange Module.
OWA Toolbar
This is most often because some files has been cached locally in the client browser.
1. Log into OWA
2. Do a force refresh by holding down CTRL while you click the Refresh button
This issue can also happen if a service pack has been installed on Exchange after the SPAMfighter OWA Toolbar has been installed.
1. Uninstall the OWA Toolbar
2. Reinstall the OWA Toolbar
Finally, ensure that the user is being filtering by SPAMfighter Exchange Module |
