Spam Mail Warns Assassination

A certain United Kingdom resident and software engineer named Charles Anderson lately got a spam mail in which the writer tells him that he has been taken on contract to take his life.

Says Charles, the e-mail sender Gladlord Mohammed writes that he has received $200,000 to kill Mr. Anderson for reasons that his employer has listed for him. TheRegister reported this on August 23, 2010.

Gladlord, according to Charles, continues that he followed him carefully for the last 10 days during when he
realized that he (Charles) didn't deserve the accusation. Thus, he's ready to spare his life if Charles deposits $50,000 into Gladlord's saving account.

Says Charles that Gladlord then warns him that he mustn't tell the FBI or police for, if he does he (Gladlord) would know and then he would be forced to execute the assassination. Moreover, if he spares Charles' life he'd be deceiving his job like never before. He, meanwhile, has the photograph and other important details about Charles.

Besides, his team from Yemen Arab Republic has hired him for the task; therefore Charles mustn't put any question, only agree or not agree with the deal, Charles quotes Gladlord.

This e-mail, although had a strong sense of menace surrounding it, Charles recognized that it was a scam; consequently he left it without replying. He stated that albeit the message was clearly false, it made him think about publicizing it should anyone else receive and trust it. The Press reported this on August 26, 2010.

Remarking about the malicious junk e-mail, Charles stated that earlier whenever he got a scam e-mail it depended on him as being someone gluttonous and unsuspecting. But, the current spam was the first one coming to him which attempted at frightening him into giving away his savings, wrote Charles on his blog that The Wrong Side of 50
published on August 22, 2010.

Meanwhile, a City of York Council spokeswoman, while stating that everyone must know about e-mails that ask for their financial information, suggested that anyone having any doubt regarding inbound e-mails must dial 085-4040506 for Consumer Direct, thus reported The Press.
