Spam or Ham

If you want to help the anti-spam community and have a bit of fun at the same time, visit SpamorHam.org ( http://www.spamorham.org/ ). The site is designed to help improve the accuracy of anti-spam filters by asking people to classify e-mails into what they think is Spam (bad e-mail), and what they think is Ham (good e-mail). The results are then compared against those generated by filters, and comparisons drawn as to whether the filters are correct or not. What's fun about it is the e-mails in question all come from the publicly-released Enron database. (If you don't know anythng about Enron, have a look at Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enron. ) Some of them are a real laugh as the executives realise they're in trouble and are desperately trying to backpeddle out of it. Actually classifying the e-mails is dead simple. You're shown a .GIF of an example e-mail as it's seen in Outlook, plus the raw e-mail headers.
