Fully Loaded: New and Improved SPAMfighter Exchange Module Just ReleasedSPAMfighter has released an all updated SPAMfighter Exchange Module version 3.2.0 packed with new features making it even easier to use for all members on exchange servers. A new ground breaking version of the SPAMfighter Exchange Module (SEM) has just been released. This new version is filled with features making it easier for system administrators and business travelers and consultants worldwide. SEM is a "zero maintenance" program which integrates seamlessly into exchange modules. When an e-mail arrives to a designated SEM user, it is scanned for spam. If the e-mail is determined to be spam it will either be moved to a SPAMfighter folder or deleted. SEM contains 5 various filters, including a language filter and optionally a virus filter. SEM is easy to use, and requires very little upkeep. Everything is done on a server, which means only one installation, one version, and only one administrator. Furthermore, SEM updates automatically requiring zero maintenance. More can be read about SEM here. "Our goal was to make a program for business users which requires very little upkeep, and allows users to feel the effects of SPAMfighter no matter where they are in the world, or what machine they are using. We have achieved this with our latest update" confirmed Martin Thorborg, co-owner and co-founder of SPAMfighter ApS. Read more about the anti-spam company, SPAMfighter here. Perhaps the most impressive update of the SEM is the new Outlook Web Access (OWA) toolbar. This toolbar is available in OWA, which allows users to check e-mail from anywhere in the world, and still have all the features of SPAMfighter. This feature is ideal for business consultants who travel from office to office, or business travelers who travel worldwide, checking their e-mail from various locations and machines. With the OWA toolbar, users such as these have the ability to filter, and block spam no matter where they are in the world. One concern SEM users expressed, was the fact that spam was sent to a SPAMfighter folder in each users mailbox, or deleted before ever hitting the server. With SEM v. 3.2.0 administrators now have the option of having spam filtered to a central SPAMfighter folder, which only they, the administrator can access. With a centralized SPAMfighter folder, spam is never seen by e-mail users, and therefore does not distract these users, or take away from valuable work time. Updates have also been made to the SEM toolbar for Outlook and the core engine. In addition to adding a toolbar to OWA, the SEM toolbar for Outlook will also have some additions. The SEM toolbar now has support for "Cached mode". Furthermore, the SEM toolbar has been expanded to support the language filter. The language filter filters e-mails in other languages that users do not understand. The core engine has also been improved to filter more effectively. Spam e-mails such as those which are image based, and animated gif e-mails can now be filtered more efficiently by the SEM core engine. SEM version 3.2.0 is now available in English, German, Dutch, and Danish. SEM will also be available in Spanish later this year. SEM version 3.2.0 now supports POP3 and other client protocols. SEM users will have the option to choose when they will be using another protocol so spam mail will be scanned before arriving in the inbox.
