How do I install SPYWAREfighter?
Download the SPYWAREfighter client to your computer and double-click on the file. Then follow the instructions on your screen. Once the installation is complete, there will be a little black man displayed in your systray (near the time), symbolising SPYWAREfighter.

How does SPYWAREfighter work?
If you have automatic protection enabled (online scanner), SPYWAREfighter will automatically protect your computer against spyware. If a file containing spyware is identified, a window will be displayed asking you to choose what SPYWAREfighter should do with the file.

SPYWAREfighter currently supports 8 different languages, but we are working to add support for more languages.

Why can I only find one version of SPYWAREfighter to download?
There is only one version you can download, and that is SPYWAREfighter Pro, which you can use free of charge for one month. Once the first month has passed, you can decide whether to pay for SPYWAREfighter Pro, or uninstall it.
Simply download SPYWAREfighter to your computer. After 1 month, SPYWAREfighter will be deactivated (and your computer will be unprotected) if we don’t hear from you.

How do I scan my computer?
Once you have installed SPYWAREfighter, you can start it by selecting "Start" -> "Programs" -> "SPYWAREfighter" -> "SPYWAREfighter".
In the SPYWAREfighter configuration program, select “Start scan” from the left menu, and then click on the “Full system scan” button to scan your computer.

Can I see SPYWAREfighter’s quarantine files?
Yes. If you start the SPYWAREfighter configuration program ("Start" -> "Programs" -> "SPYWAREfighter" -> "SPYWAREfighter") and select “Quarantine” from the left menu, a list of all the files which you have asked SPYWAREfighter to quarantine will be displayed.
If you want to delete any files, select the files and click on “Remove”.
To select all the files, simply click on the checkbox beside “Infection name” at the top of the list.

From the SPYWAREfighter configuration program, select “Update” in the left menu, and then “Update” again to update to the most recent version of SPYWAREfighter.

How do I uninstall SPYWAREfighter?
The easiest way to remove SPYWAREfighter is to use the “add/remove program” tool in Windows control panel. You can start this program by selecting:
"Start" -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel" -> "Add/remove programs"
Select SPYWAREfighter and click on “Remove”.
You can also remove SPYWAREfighter by selecting:
"Start" -> "Programs" -> "SPYWAREfighter" -> "Uninstall SPYWAREfighter"
