Yes, you can schedule a scan at any interval from minutes to months. We recommend a minimum of once every seven days, unless you are a heavy user with lots of regular downloads, in which case we recommend daily. You can set the interval by clicking the settings icon on your device, then selecting Antivirus and Update, then auto-scan.
