How do I install VIRUSfighter Pro and the Product-key?
Go to -> Start > All Programs > VIRUSfighter > Configurations Editor. Type in your Product-key, as it states on your credit-bill.
Click on “Save “and “Close”

How do I scan a single Folder with VIRUSfighter Pro?
On-Access scanning is the foundation of Virus Control with VIRUSfighter Pro v5.
VIRUSfighter Pro will scan for virus, every time you access a file. The VIRUSfighter On-Access scanner runs in the background, making it invisible. Therefore if you want to run a manual scan of a folder, do the following:
1. Highlight a folder on your Drive (i.e. the C:\ drive) in “My Computer”.
2. Right-Click on the highlighted folder.
3. Choose “VIRUSfighter…” in the menu
4. Press the button “Scan” to make a manual scan of the chosen folder.
Where do I find the VIRUSfighter Pro Menu?
The easiest way to access the VIRUSfighter Pro Menu, it to right-click on the VIRUSfighter Icon in your sys-tray (the small helmet in your right bottom corner). This will show you the following menu:
How do I Update VIRUSfighter Pro?
Right-Click on your VIRUSfighter icon in the Sys-tray and Choose “Internet Update”.
VIRUSfighter will download the newest anti-virus updates. If your anti-virus already is up-to-date you will see this screen:

How do I scan my entire Computer with VIRUSfighter?
Right-Click on your VIRUSfighter icon in the sys-tray, and choose “Scan hard disks”. VIRUSfighter will now automatically begin to scan your Computer.

VIRUSfighter Pro found a Virus – what do I do now?
If VIRUSfighter finds a Virus, you must take the following actions:
1. Highlight the found Virus, by clicking on the text in the box (se below)
2. After having highlighted the Virus, click the “Clean” button.
3. Now the Virus has been removed, and you can click the ”Close” Button.

What is the Configurations Editor?
This is the Control panel of VIRUSfighter, from where you can change the VIRUSfighter settings (Note: do not change these, unless you are an experienced user). It is also in the Configurations Editor you must type in your product-key after having purchased VIRUSfighter.
30 Days Trial
If you have the Trial Version of VIRUSfighter Pro installed, you can use this for 30 days. When your 30 day trial expires, you can either continue with the freeware version of VIRUSfighter or purchase VIRUSfighter Pro. Note: The Free version of VIRUSfighter will NOT be able to update for new Virus “antidote”!
