The first subject, Mailboxes, enables the user to view all mailboxes, as well as assigning either the SPAMfighter and/or VIRUSfighter filter to any of these. All mailboxes are listed in the right-hand side of the screen, and from the sorting options in the left-hand side, the user can sort the list of displayed mailboxes to fit his needs. Below the sorting options, the user is able to see how many of the mailboxes are protected with either SPAM- or VIRUSfighter. Read below for information on how to sort the list of mailboxes.

Sort List

The list of displayed mailboxes can be sorted as required. Under the Sort list options, the user is presented with three different "ways" to sort by.

Remember to click the Update button to actually sort the mailboxes.

1. Page entry count

Specifies how many mailboxes should be displayed "per page". Select between 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or all mailboxes.

2. Sort by

Specifies which parameter the mailboxes primarily should be sorted by. In general, all mailboxes are listed by five parameters. These are: SPAMfighter enabled, VIRUSfighter enabled, Username, Full name, and Primary SMTP email.

3. Sort direction

Specifies if the mailboxes should be listed in ascending or descending order. As an example, if Username is selected in the Sort by drop-down, and a Descending order is selected as the sort direction, usernames with any of the last letters of the alphabet, ...s-t-u etc., are listed first. Usernames starting with any of the first letters of the alphabet, ...a-b-c etc., are thus presented last.  

Assigning a Filter

A filter is assigned to a mailbox by marking the appropriate checkbox left of it. There are two checkboxes, one for each of the two filters - SPAMfighter and VIRUSfighter. If both filters should be assigned to all mailboxes, simply click the Check all link below the list. Use the Uncheck all link to remove assigned filters from all mailboxes.

Remember to click the Save changes button when you are done assigning filters. Otherwise the filters are not assigned to the mailboxes.  

Configure user/mailbox

To configure any user's mailbox, simply click the Configure user icon to the right of the listed mailbox. This will open the Configure mailbox window.

In the Configure mailbox window some user details are displayed first. These are: User type, Username, Full name, Primary email-address, and Secondary email-address. Below these details, any, or both of the two filters can be enabled for the mailbox. Simply mark the appropriate checkbox. Finally, it is possible to change the primary email protocol by selecting another protocol from the drop-down menu. Select between: Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or Mobile device.

Remember to click the Save settings button. Close the window and return to the main Mailbox window by clicking the Close button.

Note, that you can click the Rescan mailbox button, to apply and view the new settings.
