The SEM System Diagnostics tool enables you to test the core components of SEM. This will help you diagnose any potential problems, and if possible, give you a solution to these. In basic terms, the System Diagnostic tool is a separate program, which tests and tries to repair the most common problems.

The tool can be launched by navigating to Start > Programs > SPAMfighter > Support tools > SPAMfighter System Diagnostics

Note, that the tool does not merely complete a range of predefined tests, instead, the tool lets you specify which actual tests should be run. This is done by marking the appropriate checkboxes. As illustrated below.

Use the checkboxes to select which tests should be run. When the appropriate tests have been selected, click the Next button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to proceed.

The Diagnostics tool will now perform the specified tests.

Now, you are able to determine whether or not any of the core components are working properly. Click the Next button to display all test results.

Test results are displayed. The tested components will be diagnosed as: working or not working. Click the Finish button to end the testing and close the Diagnostics tool.
