Currently, SEM provides an opportunity for downloading and installing two distinct toolbars, intended for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Web Access. In detail, the SEM Toolbar is intended for Outlook, while the OWA Toolbar is intended for Outlook Web Access.
SEM Toolbar The SEM Toolbar enables users to Block or Unblock any messages directly in their Outlook. In addition to this, they can create their own white- and blacklists, as well as configure their own language filter settings. In order to download and install the toolbar, simply click the Download button and follow the instructions. Configuration of SEM Toolbar The SEM Toolbar can be configured to fit the face of your organization. For instance, you are able to upload a company logo, send out a message to your users and even open a specific webpage when clicked.
To upload a new logo, simply enter the url of the new logo. If a message should be sent out to your users, enter the message in the Message field. If a webpage should open, when the message is clicked by a user, enter the url of the message in the Message url field.
Remember to click the Save configuration button to ensure the new configuration becomes effective. Otherwise, click the Revert to default button to clear all fields. OWA Toolbar This toolbar is shown directly in Outlook Web Access for mailboxes which are filtered by SEM. Once installed, the two buttons "Block" and "Unblock" will be displayed directly in Outlook Web Access. These can be used to quickly and easily report spam emails, which have not been caught by SEM, or report a false positive.
To install the SEM Outlook Web Access Toolbar, simply click the Install OWA Toolbar button, and the toolbar is automatically downloaded and installed. Note, that a small popup message will notify you about this. If you wish to remove the toolbar, click the Remove OWA Toolbar button. |
