Public Folder Store Integration problem
The most likely cause for the integration problem is that some information about some system objects are missing in Active Directory.
Note: This guide is intended for standalone Exchange installations - small installation-specific modifications may be required if more than one Exchange server exists.
| 1. | Stop the SPAMfighter service (*) |
| 2. | Open Exchange System Manager |
| 3. | Navigate to the "Folders" > "Public Folders" |
| 4. | Right click on "Public Folders", and click "View System Folders" |
| 5. | In the left window, locate all folders which names begin with "StoreEvents{" - right click and delete them |
| 6. | Navigate to the Public Folder store - right click and choose "Dismount store" |
| 7. | Open "Active Directory Users and Computers" - in the "View" menu select "Advanced Features" |
| 8. | Open the "Microsoft Exchange System Objects" folder |
| 9. | Locate all folders which names begin with "StoreEvents{" and delete them |
| 10. | Remount the Public Folder store - see (6) |
| 11. | Navigate to "Folders" > "Public Folders" - right click and select "Refresh" |
| 12. | Start the SPAMfighter service (*) |
| 13. | Wait 1 minute to allow synchronization between Exchange and Active Directory to take place |
| 14. | Stop the SPAMfighter service (*) |
| 15. | Navigate to "Folders" > "Public Folders" - right click on the "StoreEvents{" object |
- select "All Tasks" > "Mail Enable"
| 16. | Start the SPAMfighter service (*) |
| 17. | Wait 1 minute to allow synchronization between Exchange and Active Directory to take place |
| 18. | Stop the SPAMfighter service (*) |
| 19. | Wait 1 minute to allow synchronization between Exchange and Active Directory to take place |
| 20. | Start the SPAMfighter service (*) |
* Either use the Services console in Windows - or use SPAMfighter Script Console
