Malware Programs Rose in April 2008As per computer security firm, Kaspersky Labs, there is reported to be a modification in the top three harmful programs leading the charts of Online Top Twenty, prepared by Kaspersky Laboratories. As per the research of Labs, after 2 months (January and February 2008), the adware, Virtumonde, came down to a second position. On the other hand, the other two programs of respective companies, which topped the charts in February 2008 and March 2008, further loose their rankings. April 2008 witnessed the promotion of the worm, Brontoq.q, from 3rd ranking in the end of 2007to the 1st rank in April 2008. It grabbed the merits of previous position holder, fell to 1.58% in the month of April from 4.32% in the month of March 2008.
