Multiple Flaws Found in Sun Java System ASP

According to vulnerability tracking firm Secunia on June 4, 2008, several security vulnerabilities have been discovered in Sun Java System Active Server Pages. As known, Sun Java System Active Server Pages is an Active Server Pages (ASP) application server with multiple platforms providing ASP services to a server of Web.

According to reports, malicious users can exploit these vulnerabilities to gain control over an affected system, stealing sensitive information, exploit data, or even bypass security restrictions.

According to security researchers, the first vulnerability is the result of an administrative design error that fails to authenticate users properly. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability by evading authentication restrictions put in place by the HTTP server...
