Bot Operator Infects Rubbermaid Computers And Sentenced to Prison

A hacker in the US faces imprisonment for 41 months, as he was found guilty of infiltrating corporate computer network in Europe and turning them into money-generating bots.

According to federal prosecutors in Pensacola, Florida, Robert Matthew Bentley, aged 21 years, belongs to Panama City, Florida, has also to fulfill supervised release for three years after completing his prison term as well as pay up $65,000 in restitution, as reported by The Register on June 11, 2008.
