Trojan Daunting Heise Online’s Account Holders

A fresh wave of Trojan virus is striking the Internet world, as reported by heise online on December 2, 2008. In this attach, a fake e-mail containing a Trojan horse alerts the recipients that their e-mail accounts are going to be blocked within a few hours.

The phony e-mail is reported to bear a tag-line "The e-mail address xyz@heise-online.co.uk is being blocked". It states that the recipient's e-mail address "xyz@heise-online.co.uk" has been misused and thus, it will be blocked within a day.

The e-mail further states that nearly 98 complaints of sending fake e-mails have been received from the above mentioned e-mail addresses. It then directs the user to open the attachment to know the details and ways to unblock the account.
