Storm Botnet Could be Cracked DownSecurity researchers have cracked open the notorious and ruinous Storm Worm botnet. These researchers, who hail from RWTH Aachen and Bonn Universities, have proved that the long-existing malicious network isn't as invincible as once believed. Mark Schlosser and George Wicherski from RWTH Aachen University and Felix Leder and Tillmann Werner from Bonn University have developed software that they have revealed only partially, but claim that it can eradicate the Storm Worm botnet very fast.
