WikiLeaks’ Second Alleged AKP E-mail Dump Follows Soon after Data Exposure from DNC Hack

According to a security researcher working independently, the most recent AKP electronic mails of WikiLeaks has over 80 kinds of malicious programs. These malicious programs include RATs (Remote Access Trojans) and ransomwares. The exposed AKP e-mails belong to the AKP political party of Turkey that WikiLeaks released within two parts (July and August). Vesselin Bontchev the malware and anti-virus specialist examined the e-mails' content followed with posting his observations on GitHub. He posted over 200 separate e-mails which have web-link leading onto one definite malware-laced attachment.

The 200-and-more listed e-mail ids that WikiLeaks exposed and which earlier got malware likely were broadly targeted in one bulk e-mail scheme alternatively certain specific data-garnering attack, writes Bontchev.

Anybody today hunting material from WikiLeaks database may inadvertently download destructive malicious program via following some infected web-link from among the newly dumped e-mails, cautions Bontchev. Fedscoop.com posted this August 15, 2016.

The majority malicious programs connected with WikiLeaks' second set of claimed AKP dump that Bontchev subsequently unearthed largely consisted of fundamental spam, phishing along with other types of scam assaults which lure recipients into pursuing web-links that deliver corrupted files.

Several famous personalities like Zeynep Tufecki, an American citizen emigrated from Turkey said about WikiLeaks that it exposed online the private details about all female voters of Turkey residing in 79 provinces from the total 81. He contends that the leaked information of these women voters could risk them from extremist Islamic syndicates in whose opinion women, who shouldn't be let to drive, should certainly be barred from such an important activity as voting.

But criticism against WikiLeaks doesn't end here. After about 7 days of the AKP e-mail dump when the agency exposed data which hacker Guccifer 2.0 had stolen during the DNC hack, WikiLeaks yet again hadn't purified the data that consisted of plentiful private details from American and other nation-states' citizens playing the role of fund donators to US political party the Democratic Party, say American privacy organizations.

WikiLeaks seems to be surrounded with criticisms from everywhere, because the agency has apparently become largely a data dump source rather than performing more positively.
