Three Women Charged for Identity Theft in St. Pete

Three women were connected to a theft scam of identity in St Petersburg. During the year-long scheme, attackers had stolen credit card credentials of at least 18 people.

32-year-old Jessica Danielle Dallas was charged for defraud scheme and arrested on 5th October. Investigators claimed that she had used 18 stolen identities to access credit card accounts which were used to pay utility bills and commissary privileges for an associate in the Pinellas County jail.

Dallas got bail after she posted $5,000 bail amount and was released from the jail on 5th October.

Tampabay.com posted on October 20th, 2016, stating that 38-year old Chantelle Danielle Jones was arrested on Tuesday for scheming to defraud, fraudulent use of personal credentials and unsettled warrants for failure to appear and wrong verification of ownership.

Police said that they are trying to find how Jones could create at least four bogus bank accounts and collect social security numbers of her victim. Both Jessica Dallas and Jones were arrested and charged for scheming to defraud and fraudulent use of personal identification credentials. Jones also had two unsettled warrants.

Sgt.Smith said: "You need to run that credit history on yourself once in a year. The report is free of cost. You should look for any unfamiliar inquiries but it is more important to look for accounts which were open. If you find an open account exists then obviously it means that fraud has occurred."

Police of St. Petersburg is still looking for Isabelle Dallas. They said that the credit card scheme should serve as a warning to citizens to keep a close watch on their credit reports to catch identity theft as soon as possible.

58-year old Isabelle Denise Dallas, mother of Chantelle Jones, was accused of scheme to deceive and criminal use of personal credentials.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Isabelle Dallas or any information about this case is requested to contact the police department of St. Petersburg.
