Hacker of a High School Soccer Portal Gets Two Years Prison

 

A computer attacker was sentenced on March 8 for a maximum of 2-yr period when he would serve the federal jail for hacking into a fan website for a high school soccer team in Ohio 4-yrs-and-more back.

 

The Department of Justice states that the attacker named Deric Lostutter whose online moniker is 'KYAnonymous' received a sentence of 2-yrs imprisonment during prosecution inside Lexington, Ky.'s federal court over charges he connived towards illegally hacking certain PC while falsely stating matters to a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent.

 

Lostutter a resident of Winchester, Ky. admitted during November of committing the offenses. Earlier during December 2012, the accused targeted certain online site that admirers of a football team of Steubenville High School visited, pretending that he was bringing out publicly the arrests done of 2 soccer participants over a notorious rape incident previously in 2012. According to Neeraj Gupta, Assistant United States Attorney, Lostutter falsely depicted himself to be white knight as well as a whistleblower working to prevent the media along with government towards obscuring the rape incident.

 

Lostutter during prosecution agreed that the investigation of the incident should have been an issue for Ohio's local officials instead of him doing anything about it. He said about himself as expressing apology to the hacked online site's webmaster. Lostutter is scheduled for appearing before United States Bureau of Prisons latest by 8th May.

 

Lostutter's lawyer namely Tor Ekeland argued to jail Lostutter in the cell nearest his residence inside North Carolina. At the time the two football players of Steubenville High School got slammed with rape charges over a 16-yr-old girl who lay unconscious on a day of August 2012, Lostutter was living inside rural Clark County.

 

In his plea deal, Lostutter, who posted a video to the hacked website with threats he would disclose personal identifying details of students of Steubenville High School, falsely asserted about the webmaster as being some child pornographer while he as well had certain "rape crew."

 

Danny Reeves United States District Judge remarked that Lostutter certainly wasn't any white knight within the hacking incident.
