Russian hacker apparently behind DNC attack

According to one Russian hacker, he apparently in exchange of a fee from the intelligence group of his country intruded the servers of Democratic National Congress last year.

"The Bell" a Russian portal, which usually criticizes Vladimir Putin President of Russia, posted on December 11 that the so-called hacker Konstantin Kozlovsky allegedly stated he conducted attacks because the Russian intelligence FSB asked him so. Fortune posted this on the Web dated December 11, 2017.

Konstantin's statement could potentially explode because he talked of Russian participation during the last year November presidential election which can be described an opposite of the Russian President's saying he wasn't involved. However according to Donald Trump, also president, of USA, who had recently attended a gathering in Vietnam of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, he didn't have any complaints against Putin unlike what 4 intelligence agencies of USA reported.

Earlier in 2017, Konstantin was arrested when Russian officials hastily captured one hackers' gang known to have filched more than 50m dollars out of the country's bank accounts with the help of a virus called Lurk from 2016 beginning. The man's statement got made in a court hearing on 15th August when it was being considered if his pre-trial arrest would be lengthened. The Bell portal referred to Konstantin's page on FB which contained his statement as well as a soundtrack of the Aug 15 court hearing uploaded to Soundcloud.

Konstantin stated that he conducted different errands for an FSB major-general Dmitry Dokuchayev starting 2008, among which the so-called DNS system attacks.

WikiLeaks dumped thousands of personal electronic mails which hackers had seized after accessing DNC's servers prior to the election. According to reports from Fortune, the publication of the hacked e-mails took place following 5 months' passage of the actual infiltration, just following a few hours when the notorious Access Hollywood of Billy Bush was tapped.

To simply say differently, Dokuchayev seemingly is an important person giving the details that USA officials too joined in within a report that National Intelligence Director released during January, claiming Russia was behind an attack that tried changing people's opinion.
