Additionally the guilty must publicly say sorry to Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD) former interior minister and not seek employment at institutions, which handle confidential banking operations, over a 5-yr period. Nonetheless, the sentence isn't still applicable so the defendant is proceeding to make an appeal.

Rajtar stated the judge described Filip as certain perpetrator right on the first day. While denying he ever encouraged Filip towards committing an offence, Rajtar wouldn't even testify. He claimed that being a lawmaker he could rightfully not testify for he found the entire process as a trial of witch hunt from the very start. Rajtar added that everything going on during the trial likened those observed within 3rd world countries. According to him, it was meaningless that former minister Kalinak was pretending to be the wronged party.

Slovak media reports that Filip R., when employed at one commercial bank, infiltrated Kalinak's bank account 2-yrs back followed with exposing the banking transactions from his A/C as well as hacking Jan Pociatek (Smer) ex-transport minister' account which gave out linkages with business person Ladislav Basternak who was suspected a tax fraudster.
