Actress Pooja Devariya and Megha Akash becomes latest cybercrime victim

Now-a-days actors and famous celebrities becoming hacking victims have been increasing. Social media accounts and cell phones of the celebrities often become soft targets for hackers. From local to international, many well-known faces become victims of the online fraudsters. The most recent celebrities who joined this unfortunate list are popular theatre and film actress Pooja Devariya, as well as Telugu and Tamil actress Megha Akash.

Although Pooja Devariya's Twitter or Instagram profile is safe, but some miscreants have hacked her mobile phone as well as Whatsapp on February 19, 2019. Thus, on Twitter, Pooja shared her plight as well as stated that her mobile phone got hacked. A warning message was also sent by her, in which she asked the people having her number to avoid replying to the messages received by them from her WhatsApp. She further said that replying to her Whatsapp messages might lead to crashing of the app.

In fact, Pooja on Twitter also asked her friends and fans to block her mobile phone number as the hackers are using her mobile phone number to message her friends and family. She wrote "if you have my phone number, please block it. My number was hacked at 10 am this morning. Some cheapo is using my Whatsapp to message my family and friends from the film fraternity. Please do not reply to the message, it wipes out your Whatsapp. BLOCK MY NUMBER".

Luckily for Pooja, the hackers haven't leaked anything that might create unnecessary trouble for her. Generally, the private videos or photos were leaked especially when the phones of celebrities got hacked. Also Pooja's social media accounts do not have any latest updates on them, which mean that they are intact.

Megha Akash also becomes a cybercrime victim just a few weeks ago (i.e. in starting of February 2019), when Instagram account of the actress was hacked. After hacking the account, the display picture was changed by the hacker. In fact, Megha's profile name was changed also to Damla Ekmekçioglu, Russian DJ, and Damla's photographs have been added to her Instagram account. Thus, on Twitter, Megha informed her fans regarding this mishap. Moreover, an official complaint was also filed by her against the hackers.
