VIRUSfighter is part of SPAMfighter, Europe's leading anti spam developer. It is based in Denmark (Scandinavia). SPAMfighter was founded and is owned by Henrik Sørensen, Martin Thorborg (founders of Jubii - Denmark's largest Internet Portal, now part of the Lycos Europe Network), Daniel Hjortholt and Martin Dyring (both very experienced developers).

SPAMfighter has no debt and is a viable business.
The SPAMfighter Team is located in such diverse places as Denmark, USA, Canada, and Russia.

The SPAMfighter story
In 1995 we, Henrik Sorensen, Martin Thorborg, and a couple of friends started cybernet.dk (now Jubii), one of the first Internet Providers in Denmark. One day the mail server stopped working, and it took us a while to realize that our server was being used by spammers to distribute spam. It took us almost a week to filter the spam mails from our users normal emails, and during that week our users were unable to send or receive email.
Back then we swore that we would get revenge one day, and the subsequent years didn't makes us any happier. The amount of spam grew every day, costing us money and time. So when we sold Jubii, it was very easy for us to decide what to start on next. Yes you are right - SPAMfighter!
