Facebook Software Could Turn Victim Machines Into BotsA recent research conducted by the Foundation for Research and Technology in Heraklion, Greece reveals that users of social networking sites like Facebook can be duped into turning their computers into bots which later on used to attack Websites without their knowledge. The foundation disclosed that they developed an application named FaceBot for their research with an apparent objective to display an impressive photograph to visitors every day.
