Countries Using Cyber Space to Gain Access to Rival Military Secrets

A malware attack, which is believed to have its origin in Russia, struck combat zone computers and the US Central Command administrating Iraq and Afghanistan. The attack has highlighted the concerns of computer warfare, as reported by losangelestimes on November 27, 2008.

Although computers are common target of hackers, computer worms and viruses, the defense officials said that the recent attack included a dangerous piece of malware designed particularly to target military networks.
