Top Malware INF/Autorun Proliferating Through USB SticksAccording to statistics from ESET, the most successful anti-malware vendor, INF/Autorun, a malware that attempts to employ the autorun.inf file to compromise a user's computer was still holding first position in the list as it detected the highest share of malware in March 2008. The AutoRun utility allows automatic running of programs on removable devices like USB memory sticks, CDs and DVDs, whenever the media makes its presence.
