Malware Found on Sites Favoring Tibet Independence
According to ScanSafe, the security specialist, a targeted malware attack recently infected two Websites that supported Tibet's independence, as reported by guardian.co.uk on April 10, 2008.
Also, according to ScanSafe, one of the affected sites, 'Save Tibet' now has been cleaned of the infection while the other, 'Free Tibet' is undergoing its process of cleaning.
ScanSafe said that anyone visiting the sites' homepage encounters an iFrame that leads to a Website hosting a Trojan downloader. This Trojan would then download, spyware, adware or other malicious software from different Internet sources or servers.
