Microsoft Finds Attack Tactics Changed in Favor of Web Attacks
According to reports from Windows users to Microsoft, the software company's malware Protection Center said that cyber criminals changed their attacking tactics during the second half of 2007, replacing the use of malicious e-mail with Web-based attacks.
According to Principal Architect, Jimmy Kuo, Microsoft's malware Protection Center, the company found 300% increase in Trojan downloaders that it cleaned from Windows systems, as reported by COMPUTERWORLD on April 22, 2008.
