Malware Industry Getting Professional With License ContractMalware packages now carry a license agreement for the end-user before they are offered for sale, reflecting the growing professionalism practiced on the underground activity, as reported by vnunet on April 28, 2008. The first time such a sanction was spotted when the security company, Symantec, detected one in the 'help' files accompanying the malware package, Zeus. Symantec identified the malware as "Infostealer Banker-C". Zeus is also available to buyers on the underground digital industry, while its authors seek to protect their incoming revenue by lessening the monetary value of the creation of such knock-offs.
