Whitehouse.org, Fake Site Harboring MalwareAccording to David Sancho, Advanced Threats Researcher at Trend Micro, the Whitehouse.org site has been hijacked to host malware that downloads a vicious code onto unsuspecting visitors' computers. PCMagazine published this in news on May 20, 2008. Trend Micro, which found the infection on Whitehouse.org, said it is putting every visitor at risk as the malware-serving site has been compromised. The infectious element on it is an obfuscated JavaScript code that automatically downloads a Trojan onto the user's computer. Further, Trend Micro detected this program as TROJ_DELF.GKP. Moreover, the hacked site is actually an anti-administration imitation of the real White House Website. ยป SPAMfighter News - 6/3/2008 |
