IronPort Spots a New Malicious Trojan
IronPort Systems, Leading provider of products for Web security and e-mail, has spotted a new Trojan program, as reported by TradeArabia on June 11, 2008.
The company said that it was able to seize, identify, report and took action against the threat that uses a bogus anti-spyware Website, http://antispyware911.com, to entice surfers to download a counterfeit scanner that actually contain the Trojan, as reported by TradeArabia on June 11, 2008.
According to IronPort, the bogus Website propounds that it provides free software to fix a spyware. But when users go for the offer and unwittingly download the Trojan, which infected their computers.
