Botnets More Pervasive Than Ever Before

Security analysts have revealed that cyber crooks are finding holes in computer system networks of schools and colleges to control a lot of computers and turn them into 'botnets'. These botnets could then be used to launch anonymous attacks of viruses, spam and 'Trojans' and avoiding prosecution too.

Computer-security experts commented that the menace of botnets has grown terribly pervasive. In fact, they have started to call botnets "army of darkness". And, computer networks of education institutions happen to be an inviting opportunity to grow this army.
