Crimeware Server Containing Stolen Data found in Argentina

An Argentina-located server hosting crimeware has been detected containing a large database of stolen information, subsuming Citrix login details for a leading US airline company, according to security services vendor Finjan, as reported by Heise-Online on June 19, 2008.

Researchers at Finjan disclosed that the login details could allow anyone to have complete access to any of the airline's systems that store flight schedules, cargo and passenger lists, timetables, financial data and security measures. The 500MB-sized encrypted files contain business and healthcare data, comprising Citrix credentials to access a US public healthcare establishment, Social Security numbers and Outlook login details.
