Malicious Codes Increase as Writing Them Becomes EasierAccording to a Korea-based information security providing company- AhnLab, a huge number of 10,580 spyware along with other malware were freshly detected in Korea during January-June 2008, more than twice the total of 4,376 malware detected in the same months in 2007. Also, the total number of spyware programs that could gain control of a corrupt system and intercept personal information, change computer configurations, and even install other malware was found to be 2,285, about the double of 1,070 in 2007.
