Malware Attacks Increases by 278% in H1 2008, Says ScanSafeScanSafe, a leading provider of SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), discovered a mass hacking of authentic sites in June 2008, accounting for 66% of the total malware it blocked. As per the report by ScanSafe, Web-basedmalwarehas gone up by 278% as many authentic sites like BusinessWeak, Wal-Mart, Race for Life and Ralph Lauren Home were hacked. Also, the firm also claimed that SQL (Structured Query Language) injection attacks have emerged as the most common form of Website attack, surpassing all other types of attack by 212%.
