Hacker Defaces Kaspersky Sites to Draw Attention

According to a Russia-based computer security company - Zone-h.org - a Turkish hacker with nickname of 'm0sted' defaced the Malaysian site of Kaspersky Labs with the help of an SQL injection.

The hacker also infiltrated the official Kaspersky S.E.S online shop as well as its many other sub domains. According to him, patriotism inspired him to wage the attack and he used an SQL injection as a technique to perform the intrusions.

Both the Websites had their home pages defaced along with several of their supplementary pages. Although the incident appears to be an ordinary Website defacement, it might lead to greater risks for visitors, as these sites distribute assessment files of the Kaspersky anti-virus to the general pub...
