Hackers Started Targeting Users of Apple Macs

Security researchers have cautioned the Mac users that it will soon emerge as the next leading target for ID theft.

Sophos informs that two of the Mac-ware trojans that came out in February and June 2008 would eliminate all the illusions of Mac users that their systems could not be attacked. Also, the first harmful piece of Mac-ware came out in October 2007, implying that drastic is about to happen.

Further, the piece of Mac malware was recognized as "OSX/Hovdy-A Trojan" during June 2008, and the most harmful of the two. It is capable to infiltrate into a Mac and can also steal password and open the user's firewall to cause exploits...
