New Virus Feigning Antivirus Software Wreaking HavocAs per a news release, TROWBRIDGE-based IT company, West Wiltshire Micros, has warned computer users of a virus wreaking havoc on PCs in West Wiltshire, England. West Wiltshire Micros added that it is analyzing five computers per day that have been compromised with the same virus. Meanwhile, the company is trying to minimize the impact of attack and warning users about suspicious messages that come on screen and offer antivirus software. Adam Drury, working at West Wilts Micros, said that they reported over 50 systems affected with the same virus in the past month, as reported by Wiltshire Times on August 22, 2008.
