Atrivo – Home to Malware, Spyware & Adware

Hostexploit (hostexploit.com), a Web research firm, has come up with a report that disclosed Atrivo (atrivo.com), a Web hosting company situated in Concord city of California, as a major source of spyware, fake antivirus products, viruses and adware.

The study further disclosed that many IP addresses are controlled by Atrivo as it has the Internet's Autonomous Systems, a collection of networked IP routing prefixes in which one prefix defines the routing policy.

Moreover, according to the study, from 2004 to the present, Atrivo has been identified as a host to many identity theft, spam, financial scams and malware that were involved in many cyber crimes.
