Users of Virtualization May Face More Attacks in FutureAccording to news reports, VMware Inc.'s recently issued many patches for its virtualization offerings, which, as per the reports, are the first ever launched, as hackers, virus creators and phishers are shifting their focus on these virtualized systems. Fortify Software Inc., an online security vendor, said that virtualization has modified the way companies and home users use their systems but one should be extra cautious about private security if it is planning to adopt this technology, as reported by COMPUTERWORLD on September 8, 2008.
