Cyber Criminals’ New Hacking Tactic Called CaaS

As the landscape of malware threat keeps evolving, hackers are constantly changing tactics to evade detection technologies that vendors are continuously developing. At Finjan, security experts have discovered that cyber crooks are applying a new method called Crimeware-as-a-Service ( CaaS).

The experts also disclosed that in CaaS technique, a viral malware, does not dwell on the platform that acts as host rather it resides on a remote server, resembling a software-as-a-service platform. This means that CaaS supplies malware to the plagued host whenever demanded.
