Web Pages Infected With Viruses at An Alarming RateCyber criminals are using Web to infect users' computers with malicious software; therefore, choose to attack as many Websites as possible. According to Sophos, an online security company, hackers have compromised more than 380,000 new Web pages with malicious code since the starting of September 2008, with a median of 15,000 Web pages daily. This indicates that in every 5 seconds, one new malware infection takes place over the net. Moreover, the company also reported that over 90% of these Web pages belonged to the sites compromised with SQL injections.
