Exclusive Toolkits for Exploiting PDF Vulnerabilities

US-CERT on September 25, 2008 warned that new toolkits attacking vulnerabilities in Adobe's PDF-reading application are making the rounds on the net, as reported by InformationWeek on September 26, 2008.

As per the Anti-Malware Research Labs of Secure Computing, the Web-based exploit toolkit is called "PDF Xploit Pack."

Besides, the new malevolent attack kit targets only PDFs and there is no other attack code to leverage its vulnerabilities, according to a Secure Computing blog post, as reported by InformationWeek on September 26, 2008.
