Russian Police Identified Author of Gpcode RansomewareThe Russian police claimed that they found the writer of Gpcode virus, which was in reality a ransomware. The police disclosed that the notorious Gpcode ransomware virus, which attacked systems during July 2008, was crafted by a single person known to the investigating authorities.
