Malware Writers Exploiting Volatile Threat Landscape, Says McAfee
Data released by McAfee indicates that the number of malware developed during 2006-2007 was expected to see a growth of 245%, and a further hike of 300% forecasted for 2007-2008. McAfee further stated that the total volume of malware generated between January and November 2008 had surpassed the combined total of 2006 and 2007.
