Web-based Malware Reached Record Height in October 2008ScanSafe, a pioneer in providing Software as a service (SaaS) Web Security, released its monthly Global Threat Report that says the rate of web-based malware increased sharply in the month of October 2008, making it the single highest malwarerecorded month this year. The disclosures made in the report are very concerning because 2008 has recorded the highest number of web-based malware till now.
