Connecticut School Teacher Succeeded in Proving Her Innocence

As per the news reports published by WashintonPost on November 24, 2008, state prosecutors withdrew charges against a substitute teacher, Julie Amero, in Connecticut. She faced 40 years imprisonment for allegedly accessing a porn site before students of seventh grade.

According to the details of the case, state prosecutors blamed Julie Amero for not taking immediate action to shut down machine when it showed obscene images. However, they didn't know that she had little knowledge of computers, and the school authorities had not updated the child protection filter application running on her machine.
